Set up your business

Create your account, verify your email and fill in the details that appear on every quote and invoice.

1. 1Choose Start free trial and enter your name, your work email and a password.
2. 2Open the verification email and confirm your address, then sign in.
3. 3Create your business: enter its name, choose your country and check the timezone.
4. 4Owners and admins set up two-factor authentication on first sign-in — see “Two-factor authentication”.
5. 5Go to Settings and check your business details: timezone, GST registration and default payment terms.
6. 6In the Branding section, add your logo, phone, email and address. They appear on the pages your customers open.

Why the country matters

Your country sets your currency and the tax rules used on every quote and invoice line. Choose it carefully: it is set when the business is created. If quoting isn't available in your country yet, TradieQ tells you when you choose it.

Add your most common items to the price list before your first quote — it makes quoting on site much faster.
