Two-factor authentication

Set up an authenticator app, save your recovery codes and replace a lost phone.

1. 1Install an authenticator app (such as 1Password, Google Authenticator or Authy).
2. 2Scan the QR code TradieQ shows, then enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
3. 3Save the recovery codes somewhere safe. Each one works once, and they're only shown once.

New phone or lost codes

Signed in on a trusted device? Go to Settings → Security → Manage to replace your authenticator or issue new recovery codes.

Lost access entirely? Use a recovery code to sign in. If you're not an owner or admin, your business owner can reset two-factor for you from the Team page — you'll set it up again at your next sign-in.

Owners and admins must keep two-factor on. If an owner loses both their phone and their recovery codes, contact support.
